Panorpa germanica rumelica was described from European Turkey ( Lauterbach 1972) and later reported also from northeast Greece and Bulgaria ( Willmann 1977). The latest record of this subspecies was published from Macedonia (FYROM) ( Dvořák 2016b). Second to seventh ( Fig. 1 ) published localities from Bulgaria showing, that P. g. rumelica is probably more common in southern Balkans, than was published.
