Neotropical: 1) Honduras, 2) Mexico (south), 3) Nicaragua, 4) Panama ( Cooley & Kohls 1945, Kohls & Clifford 1966, Bermúdez et al. 2015 b, Guglielmone et al. 2021).

Clifford et al. (1973) and Camicas et al. (1998) listed Ixodes bequaerti as a Nearctic species, but to date this tick has only been found in the Neotropical Region ( Guglielmone et al. 2021).
