Distribution. Costa Rica, Colombia, Guyana, French Guiana, Peru, Brazil (Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Maranhão, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, São Paulo), Bolivia (Beni, Santa Cruz).

Species diagnosis. Prothorax noticeably longer than wide, parallel-sided; center of pronotum with distinct, longitudinal, smooth groove; elytra unicolorous and shiny, densely punctate; elytral apex with long outer spine and a small sutural tooth ( Martins 1976: 290; García et al. 2019: 14, 17).
