Distribution. Bolivia (Santa Cruz), Brazil (Maranhão, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Bahia, Minas Gerais), Paraguay.
New record. ARGENTINA: Chaco: Los Chaguares, Department Primero de Mayo, 27°19′59′′S, 58°57′57′′W, 55 masl, 18.X.2017, Riparian forest , Light trap, 1 male, N. G. Valle leg. (CARTROUNNE 9565) GoogleMaps .
Species diagnosis. Antennae and legs black; posterior region of the elytra black or bluish black, and remaining surface from orange to reddish; pronotum microsculptured; elytra uniformly punctate; (Martins 1998: 179, figs 214–216).
Remark. First record of the genus in Argentina.
