Erinaceus Group

The species included in this group are the largest of the genus (60–65 mm). Pronotal spines are wide and long, exceeding the length of the fastigium. Branches of male cerci without ventral or apical denticulations. The known distribution for this group is from the Amazonian foothills in Colombia to central Peru.
