This endemic monotypic genus commonly occurs in eucalypt forests in southern Australia. The irregularly arranged, broadly rounded, wavy cell walls of of eggs of this species are similar in appearance to the cell walls of the Nearctic boarmiine species Anacamptodes humaria pallida Rindge ( Salkeld 1983) .
