This genus is represented by four Australian species that occur throughout the continent; the type species, callizona is illustrated. The eggs of this species are unlike any described so far and do not bear any close resemblance to the Nearctic larentiines described in Salkeld (1983). However the sharply truncated form of the egg is typical of many larentiine tribes.
