Oenochroma is a moderately large genus with eighteen described species. Here, the eggs of two species are described. The eggs of O. vetustaria and O. vinaria are very similar and share the following features: egg marked all over by round, concave cells with broad walls; anterior polar cell walls narrow, slightly elevated; aeropyles inconspicuous, slightly elevated with very small openings, absent from top wide side; micropylar cells recessed; micropyles off­centred; chorion undulating.
