Distribution. USA (Georgia, Missouri), Mexico.
Etymology. The name is derived from the Latin word parvus, meaning “small”, referring to the small body sizes of this species.
Comments. Stenetra parvula is similar to S. californica by females having a pilose basal cell, but differ by having the pedicel longer than F1, Mt8 2.9–3.5× as long as broad, and the head and mesosoma with black coloration. Females of S. parvula are also very similar to S. longuncus and S. miyazakii , the differences between these species given in the key.
