Length: 9.5mm – 12.5mm (10 specimens).
Head: Dark reddish brown to black; finely and diffusely punctate.
Antennae: Light brown to dark brown; not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside; A5–A10 serrate. Pronotum: Red-brown, sometimes with black spots; slightly dilated anteriorly, constricted towards base; with four distinct elevations on disc and two smaller elevations at base (in middle), elevations always red-brown; finely and diffusely punctate; length:width ratio 1.56:1.
Scutellum: Brown.
Elytra: Black with reddish shoulders; each elytron with a white lateral spot in the basal third and a yellow transverse fascia beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins, fascia with narrow extension towards base, apex brown; irregularly punctate, punctures partly elongate, their diameter not larger than interstices, punctures elongate behind fasciae; length:width ratio 2.28:1. Legs: Dark reddish brown to black, tarsi light brown.
Lower surface: Head and thorax dark brown, abdomen light red-brown. Vestiture: With yellowish hairs.
Distribution: Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania.
Etymology: Named after the female dog (Topolina) of the senior author.
