( Figs. 14A, 14B View FIGURE 14 , 63 View FIGURE 63 )
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) cornuta sp. nov. in the shape of epandrium, surstylus, cercus ( Figs. 32A, 32B View FIGURE 32 , 63A View FIGURE 63 ), aedeagus ( Figs. 32C, 32D View FIGURE 32 , 63B, 63C View FIGURE 63 ), and subepandrial sclerite ( Figs.32E, 32F View FIGURE 32 , 63D, 63E View FIGURE 63 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the cercus with sparse pubescence ( Fig. 63A View FIGURE 63 ); the pregonite blurry or absent ( Fig. 63B, C View FIGURE 63 ); the subepandrial sclerite nearly triangular ( Fig. 63F View FIGURE 63 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus brown. Mesonotum brownish ( Fig. 14A View FIGURE 14 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 14B View FIGURE 14 ). Scutellum brown ( Fig. 14A View FIGURE 14 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 14B View FIGURE 14 ). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown ( Fig. 14A, B View FIGURE 14 ); sternites dark brown, about 1.2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 63 View FIGURE 63 ): Epandrium with ca. 12 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 63A View FIGURE 63 ). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth and some setulae near distal margin, lacking serrated process and pubescence ( Fig. 63A View FIGURE 63 ). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 63B, C View FIGURE 63 ). Aedeagus with numerous minute, serrated processes distodorsally and much pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 63B, C View FIGURE 63 ). Aedeagal sheath distally slender, strongly dorsad curved, and with some minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 63D, E View FIGURE 63 ).
