Remarks: This species was previously known from Argentina ( Guanilo et al. 2008b), Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Jamaica, Paraguay, Peru ( Guanilo et al. 2008a) and Trinidad. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description, except for those of j3, J2, z4, Z4, Z5, s4 and Sge IV that are about 1.3, 0.7, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.4 and 1.3 times as long, respectively; measurements of these setae are close to those reported by Lofego et al. (2004) for specimens from the State of São Paulo.
