Dorsal shield 343 (325–355) long and 200 (182–212) wide; j1 32 (31–34), j3 45 (42–44), j4 11 (10–12), j5 11 (10–11), j6 15 (13–16), J2 14 (14–15), J5 8 (8–9), z2 17 (16–18), z4 45 (43–48), z5 10 (9–10), Z1 24 (22–26), Z4 70 (66–73), Z5 84 (77–90), s4 60 (57–63), S2 34 (31–37), S4 25 (22–29), S5 11 (11–12), r3 22 (21–24), R1 16 (15–17); distances between st1-st3 67 (65–70), st2-st2 68 (65– 70) and st5-st5 78 (73–83); ventri-anal shield 115 (108–123) long, 63 (61–65) wide at level of ZV2 and 69 (66–75) wide at level of anus; JV5 59 (55–67); movable cheliceral digit 35 (32–37) long, with 3 teeth; fixed cheliceral digit 33 (32–35) long, with 8–11 teeth; calyx of spermatheca 21 (20–23) long; Sge I 23 (21–23), Sge II 24 (23–25), Sge III 31 (29–33), Sti III 21 (20–21), Sge IV 58 (55–60), Sti IV 27 (26–28), St IV 69 (67– 70).

Specimens examined: São José do Rio Preto (20°48' S, 49°24' W), February 2008, on B. decumbens (3 Ƥ). Novo Horizonte (21°03' S, 49°18' W), July 2008, on B. decumbens (1 Ƥ). Jales (20°13' S, 49°18' W), June 2008, on B. ruziziensis (2 Ƥ, 1 3). Onda Verde (20°32' S, 49°14' W), July 2008, on P. maximum (1 Ƥ). Campinas (22°54' S, 47°01' W), July 2008, on B. decumbens (2 Ƥ).

Remarks: This species was previously known from Argentina ( Guanilo et al. 2008b), Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Jamaica, Paraguay, Peru ( Guanilo et al. 2008a) and Trinidad. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description, except for those of j3, J2, z4, Z4, Z5, s4 and Sge IV that are about 1.3, 0.7, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.4 and 1.3 times as long, respectively; measurements of these setae are close to those reported by Lofego et al. (2004) for specimens from the State of São Paulo.
