EXAMINED MATERIAL. — FSAC Bouj-95, a fragment of carapace plate.
DESCRIPTION
FSAC Bouj-95 ( Fig. 5O View FIG ) is a fragment of dermal plate of a carapace, covered dorsally by parts of three meeting scutes. A natural border that makes an acute angle for a ventral scute lip is present, but it is not possible to locate and orientate the plate based on this information.
REMARKS
The smooth ornamentation of the surface and the presence of a lip preclude assignment to cheloniids. This plate and Bouj- 196 might belong to the same pleurodiran taxon.
