Syn.: Rhamnus cornifola Boissier & Hohenackervar. denudata Bornmüller (1905: 225).
Typus — IRAN. Markazi: In dit. Urb. Sultanabad, in Monte Rasweed, 1891, Strauss ( JE!) .
Description —Plant is completely glabrous; leaves ovoid to oblong.
Habitat and distribution —Endemic to C & W of IRAN. It grows on the cliffs, at an altitude of 2350–4000 m and its distribution has diminished and there is less than the past.
Phenology —Flowering is in early April to late May, fruits and seeds maturie in early July to late August.
