Type material: Site 1— Holotype, male, body length = 8.69 mm, head length = 0.92 mm, Brazil, municipality of São Pedro das Missões , state of Rio Grande do Sul (27°46’45.8”S- 53°15’37.2”W), December, 05, 2014. Streck-Marx M. T . & Castiglioni , D.S. cols., MNRJ 30141 ( Fig. 1A ) . Allotype, females, body length = 7.30 mm, head length = 0.75 mm, Brazil, municipality of São Pedro das Missões , state of Rio Grande do Sul (27°46’45.8”S- 53°15’37.2”W), December 05, 2014. Streck-Marx, M. T . & Castiglioni , D.S. cols., MNRJ 30142 ( Fig. 1B ) . Paratypes (same data and collectors of the holotype): five males and five females, MNRJ 30143 . Paratypes ( Laboratório de Taxonomia Animal ) (same data and collector of the holotype): 61 males, 67 females and 18 ovigerous females wholes and five males and two females in slides, CLZE 45 .

Type locality. Brazil, state of Rio Grande do Sul, municipality of São Pedro das Missões, small spring (27°46’45.8”S- 53°15’37.2”W) (Várzea River Basin), 535 meters of altitude ( Fig. 2A ).
