6. Mitjaevia tridentata Lin & Zhang View in CoL sp. nov.

Description. Crown milky to yellow, with pair of large black triangular spots in the middle. Coronal suture extending to 1/2 length of crown. Face slightly flat in profile. Eyes gray marked with yellow-brownish. Other structures as in generic description ( Figs 1u, v, w, x View FIGURE 1 ).
Abdominal apodemes divergent, only extended to the middle of sternite III ( Fig. 7b View FIGURE 7 ). Anal tube short, with poorly developed appendage ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ).
Pygofer lobe with several microsetae scattered on ventral side and microtrichia scattered on caudal parts ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ), dorsal appendage almost straight, produced medially, forming a small tooth ( Figs 7a, c View FIGURE 7 ), apex of ventral appendage with 3 teeth ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ). Subgenital plate with several microsetae scattered on distal part, distal part expanded, group of microsetae along upper margin of subbasal part merging to 1row near middle, finally extending to apical, 3 macrosetae near middle ( Fig. 7a View FIGURE 7 ). Connective Y-shaped, with manubrium short and broad, central lobe distinct ( Fig. 7d View FIGURE 7 ). Apex of style enlarged and inner margin produced ( Figs 7e, f View FIGURE 7 ). Aedeagus with preatrium developed, longer than aedeagal shaft, aedeagal shaft tubular and slightly S-shaped in profile, with pair of long and slim basal processes, extending almost to gonopore, one angulate process on ventral side below basal processes, gonopore apical, a pair of small tooth-like subapical processes located near lower margin of gonopore on ventral side ( Figs 7g, h View FIGURE 7 ).
Measurement. Male 2.70–2.80mm, female 2.80mm.
Material examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Zhejiang Prov., Lishui , 2017.VII.30, coll. Shuanghu Lin ; Paratypes: 4♂ 7♀, same data as holotype ; 1♂, CHINA, Fujian Prov., Ningde , 2017.VII.24, coll. Shuanghu Lin ; 1♀, CHINA, Zhejiang Prov., Zhoushan , 2017.VI.3, coll. Shuanghu Lin.
Diagnosis. This new species is similar to M. protuberanta , but has the apex of the pygofer ventral appendage with 3 teeth, and the aedeagal shaft apex pointed in profile, with basal processes not extended to gonopore. M. protuberanta has the apex of the pygofer ventral appendage with only 1 tooth, and the aedeagal shaft apex rounded in profile, with basal processes extended to the gonopore.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin prefix “tri-” and the Latin word “dentatus”, referring to the tridentate apex of the pygofer ventral appendage.
