Helicotylenchus minzi was originally described from citrus (Citrus sp.) at Kabri, Israel ( Sher 1966), but has since been reported from five of the world’s biogeographic regions including: 1) Afrotropical Region in Mozambique ( Marais 2001) and South Africa ( Kleynhans et al. 1996), 2) Australian Region in New Zealand ( Wouts & Yeates 1994), 3) Oriental Region in China ( Zhang et al. 1998) and India (Fotedar & Kaul 1985), 4) Middle East in Iran ( Barooti & Geraert 1994, Kashi & Karegar 2014) and 5) Palaearctic Region in Bulgaria ( Katalan-Gateva 1980), Georgia ( Bagatyriya 1971) and Hungary ( Andrássy 1973).
