Material examined: „ Syria, Reitter “ \ “ Jaffa ” \ Trinodes dilutus m Type ” \ “dilutus Rtt. Coll. Reitter ” \ “ Apsectus flavus comb.n. V. Kalík det.1990”, 1 spec., J. Háva det., ( MNHN) .
Other material studied: “ Sudan, Prov. North Darfur, El Geneina ” \ „ad lucem, Ibrahim M. Abuzinid leg., 24.8.1979 “, 1 ex, V . Kalík det. 1990 as Apsectus flavus comb. n., J. Háva det., ( MNHN) .
Distribution. Species known from Egypt, Eritrea, Sudan, Tunisia and Tchad, new for Syria.
Remarks. In the collections of MNHN is deposited one specimen (destroy, missing pronotum and head) originaly determined as Trinodes dilutus m. Reitter. This taxon is undescribed. Kalík in the year 1990 determined the specimed as Apsectus flavus , but this specimen belonged to the genus Evorinea .
