General distribution. Europe: France, Greece, Italy (incl. Sardinia and Sicily), Romania ( Zapparoli 2002; Minelli et al. 2006).

Chorotype. Mediterranean (MED).

Parnonas ( Fig. 12 ). 1 ex., Arkadia, Kastanitsa pathway SE to Prastos (loc. 3), 1020 m, N37.257412 / E22.654848, 26 Oct. 2014; 1 ex., Arkadia, Kastanitsa by the village (loc. 18), 850 m, N37.266372 / E22.648945, 28 Oct. 2014; 3 exx., Arkadia, Kastanitsa to Agios Vasileios, east of Gaitanorachi (loc. 20), 1455 m, N37.224892 / E22.643886, 29 Oct. 2014.

Ecological notes. 850–1455 m; a species recorded under Castanea sativa woods, in mountain grasslands, and in anthropized habitats.
