Diagnosis. The forewing length is 8.0 mm in males and 10.0 mm in females. Ovipennis bicolora is similar in appearance only to O. regina sp. n. and the detailed comparison is provided below in the diagnosis of the new species. The genitalia of both sexes of O. bicolora are most reminiscent of O. hanae sp. n. and the detailed comparison is provided below in the diagnosis of the latter species.
Distribution. Currently known only from its type locality in Sichuan Province, western China ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 33–38 ).
Remarks. The record of Ovipennis binghami from Sichuan ( Fang 2000) is based on the misidentification of the female of O. bicolora .
