Male genitalia: parameres ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 72–78 ).
Note 1: Bruch (1919) mentioned 2 exx. from Córdoba: Alta Gracia, but no specimens from this locality were found in MACN or MLPA. This was probably and error so the distribution of H. semiopaca in Córdoba requires further verification.
Note 2: The species and the variety of Bréthes (1925) were published together; the specific name “ platensis ” was added only as a heading in the drawer, not on a label. The name “ marii ” was not published.
Note 3: The origin of H. semiopaca from Brazil (by the type locality of Moser 1907) was questioned by Blackwelder (1944), but this is probable since H. semiopaca was also found in northeastern Uruguay near Brazil ( Fig. 62 View FIGURE 62 ).
