Type locality: Eastern Pacific, México Baja California Sur, Punta Colorado, San José Island , Sta. 11788, 25°21’00”N, 110°05’00”W, November 24, 1967, 375 to 481 m, in silts with fine sand GoogleMaps .

Records: Cabo Falso and Tres Marias Islands , Gulf of California ( Fauchald 1972).
