REMARKS.

After the examination of the type of Anomala chanleri Linell, 1895 it is deemed conspecific with Anomala cludtsi Limbourg, 2005 . Therefore, the latter species becomes a new junior subjective synonym.

The colour of the pronotum of Anomala chanleri Linell, 1895 is variable, either black or reddish, the latter colour might indicate freshly emerged specimens.
