Central European species. In the Iberian Peninsula it has only been cited in these two caves in Gipuzkoa and Navarra. In Troskaeta it appears on decomposing plant remains; in the Sumidero de Espinal the specimens were captured in a cheese bait ( Beruete 2000a, Beruete et al. 2002).
