Eusynstyela tincta: Van Name 1945 and synonymy. Stations: AB 163; AB 181; AD 229. (MNHN S1 EUS 52).
E. tincta View in CoL is easily recognizable with its red zooids included in a thin sheet of common tunic. The body wall is thin with inconspicuous musculature ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ). This species was previously collected from the Caribbean islands, Brazil and Florida (Van Name 1945; Van der Sloot 1969; Monniot C. 1983; Paiva et al 2015 and bibliography). It has also been cited from the Indian Ocean.
