Distribution. India: Uttar Pradesh (Hampson 1905). Global: Africa, Australia, Europe (South), Indonesia ( Java, Sumatra), Japan, Korea, Madagascar, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, (Hampson 1905; Kononenko & Pinratana 2013).
Remark: Worldwide two subspecies, B. c. crini and B. c. pancratii ( Cyrillo, 1787) (TL: Italy (Europe)).
Genus Bryopolia Boursin, 1954: 86 View in CoL
Type species: Polia virescens Hampson, 1894: 234 , by original designation.
