Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1986 as Apion pisi ); East Azarbaijan ( Modarres Awal 1997, 2012 as Apion pisi ; Legalov et al. 2010).
General distribution. Algeria, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Macedonia, Morocco, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, European Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine and introduced in Australia.
Plant associations in Iran. Medicago sativa L., Onobrychis altissima Grossh. (Fabaceae) ( Modarres Awal 1986, 1997, 2012).
