Sinonirvana hirsuta Gao et Zhang View in CoL sp. nov.

Description. Crown yellowish white, with a brown median stripe from 1/3 apex of crown extending to tip of scutellum; eyes yellow, ocelli yellowish white; face yellowish white. Pronotum and scutellum yellowish white, lateral margin of pronotum orange. Forewing white to pale yellow, heavily marked with brown (Figs. 3, 6, 9).
Male pygofer well sclerotized with 11 dorsoapical macrosetae; ventral margin with a process curved inside with 5 small rigid setae ( Figs. 25, 27 View FIGURES 25 – 31 ). Subgenital plate expanded at middle and narrowed gradually at apex, with a ventral longitudinal row of macrosetae; numerous long, fine setae sparsely distributed over surface laterad of macrosetae ( Fig. 26 View FIGURES 25 – 31 ). Style and connective as in D. excelsa ( Figs. 30–31 View FIGURES 25 – 31 ). Aedeagal shaft with basal half straight and apical half abruptly curved ventrad, with pair of well-developed lateral ear-like appendages at base of apical half, pair of apical long processes curved dorsad, gonopore apical on posterior surface ( Figs. 28 – 29 View FIGURES 25 – 31 ).
Measurements. Male length 4.9mm, female length 4.7–5.0mm (including wing).
Material examined. Holotype: 1♂ China: Yunnan Prov., Jinping, 1900m, 10-June-2009, coll: Zhang Lei. Paratypes: 3♀, data same as for Holotype.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. The specific epithet of this species refers to the numerous long, fine setae on the subgenital plate.
