Description. Color pattern of head, scutellum, eyes and ocelli as in D. excelsa , but pronotum black with a pale yellow horizontal stripe in the middle (Figs. 2, 5), face black (Fig. 8), forewing mostly black with two wide pale yellow stripes along anterior margin and claval suture extending to costal margin respectively (Figs. 2, 5).
Shape of male pygofer similar to D. excelsa , but without ventral process and median lobe not protruded ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 20 – 24 ). Subgenital plate, style and connective as in D. excelsa ( Figs. 21, 23–24 View FIGURES 20 – 24 ). Aedeagal shaft process similar to D. excelsa , but with pair of subterminal appendages hooklike, not straight and shaft in lateral view thicker ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 20 – 24 ).
Measurements. Body length (including tegmen): Male 4.9mm, female 5.1–5.5mm.
Material examined. China: Holotype, ♂, Sichuan Prov., Yaan, Wawushan, 21 July 2009, Zhang Xinmin. Paratypes: 1♀, Sichuan Prov., Yaan, Wawushan, 21 July 2009, Zhang Xinmin; 3♀, Sichuan Prov., Yaan, Huwushan, 1800m, 21 July 2009, Zhang Xinmin; 5♀, Sichuan Prov., Yaan, Huwushan, 1100m, 20 July 2009, Zhang Xinmin.
Distribution. China (Sichuan).
Etymology. The specific epithet for this species refers to the color pattern of the forewing.
Remarks. This species is similar to D. excelsa , but can be easily distinguished from the latter by forewing with two longitudinal stripes and aedeagus with pair of ventral processes at apical 2/5 of shaft.
