Diagnostic characters: Vertex shiny white in the apex, as broad as pronotum, pronotum greenish. Faint basal triangles at the scutellum may be seen. Tegmina with a black spot in the middle, absent in females.
Distribution: India: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram,Punjab, Rajasthan, and West Bengal. Elsewhere: Australia, Bangladesh, China, Ethiopian region, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Thailand.
