Apenesia spinipes (Evans, 1969)

This species was originally described from Argentina; now it is recorded for the first time from Brazil (Pará). In this series, the mandibles have five evident teeth.

Material examined.— BRAZIL, Pará, 6 males, Tucuruí, Base 4, 27.X.1985 – 15.X.1987, Interception trap, N. Degallier col. ( MPEG); 1 male, Santarém Novo, Fazenda Jaburú, 07–09.I.1993, Malaise trap, J. Dias col. ( MPEG); 1 male, Serra Norte, Estrada Manganês, 9–12.II.1985, Malaise trap 1.6m ( MPEG).
