Apenesia bugabensis ( Cameron, 1888)
This species was originally known from Costa Rica, Panama and Peru. Now it is recorded for the first time from Brazil (Amazonas and Pará).
Material examined.— BRAZIL, Amazonas, Manaus, 10 males, Reserve Campina, 08–19.VI.1992, Stick trap, Vidal col. ( INPA); 5 males, Reserve Ducke, 08–15.IV.1992 – 29.VII.1992, Stick trap 1 and 2 m, J. Vidal & J. Vidal col. ( INPA). Pará, 1 male, Chaves, Ilha Caviana, Fazenda São Luíz, 15.VII–13.VIII.1991, Malaise trap, M. Fernandes col. ( MPEG); 1 male, Tucuruí, base 4, 27.X–09.XI.1985, Interception trap, N. Degallier col. ( MPEG).
