Distribution: Palaearctic: Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia­Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Is, Croatia, Egypt, France, Greece, Gruzia, Italy, Kyrgyz Republic, Libya, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yugoslavia.

It appears to be common in the highlands and the Jordan Valley. It has been reared from the nests of several species of sphecid wasps (du Merle, 1975)

Material: 15 specimens: Al Jubayhah 3.IX.2002 (1Ψ, 1ɗ); Ash Shumari 23.VII.2002 (6Ψ, 4ɗ) Retma raetam (Forssk) (Leguminosae); Al Mujib 24.IX.2002 (1ɗ); Wadi Shuqayq 24.IX.2002 (1Ψ, 1ɗ) on Verthemia iphionoides.

Distribution: Afrotropical: Benin, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan. Palaearctic: Afghanistan, Algeria, Austria, Bosnia­Hercegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, France, Iran, Italy, Libya, Macedonia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yugoslavia.

This species was collected from white broom Retma raetam (Försk.) (Leguminosae).
