C. xiaoi ( Tamura, 1998) comb. nov.
Hypogastrura xiaoi Tamura, 1998 in: Tamura & Zhao 1998
Distribution: China, Yunnan province ( Tamura & Zhao 1998).
Note. Boat-like mucro and clearly polychaetotic chaetotaxy allow us to regard this species a member of the genus Ceratophysella , similar to C. horrida ( Yosii, 1960) , C. subhorrida ( Babenko, 1994) and C. anshanensis . To establish their taxonomic relations more extensive material from the type locality of C. xiaoi is needed. Because of unknown sex and body size of only 0.6-1.0mm the types are suspected to be immature.
