The “ amphion group” comprises six species characterized by the following characters: their greyish ground color; FW with six contiguous hyaline spots: two costal, two cellular (fused), and two discal; posterior margin of tegumen with one pair of lateral apophysis; valva with distal margin in a hook–like process; cornuti as numerous sharp and conic spines, disposed in line, the first ones larger; ductus of corpus bursae with sclerotized area near ostium and with a small striated area on median area.
