Naxioides vaitahu Poupin, 1995 . Stn 37, Eiao, 214 m ( Fig. 6 c), on Antipathes ? sp. ( Antipatharia , Antipathidae ). R/V Marara , trap, Fatu Hiva, Fatu Huku, Hiva Oa, Tahuata, 110–370 m (only known from the Marquesas).
