Found at 1950 m. ex Onopordon X occosum: 2F, Ammoua, Akkar Co. (North Lebanon).
This species was swept from other Onopordon species in Israel and Crete. Its general distribution includes southern Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa ( Neuenschwander and Freidberg, 1983; Foote, 1984; Freidberg and Kugler, 1989).
