Fidicina bogotana Distant, 1892: 58 View in CoL .

The species has been a member of the genus Fidicina . However, it possesses bipartite tarsi and the timbal cover is roughly triangular and pointed, which make it a member of the genus Dorisiana and it is therefore reassigned.

The species has been reported from Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and Peru ( Metcalf 1963a). The species has been reported from Bogotà ( Distant 1892; Jacobi 1907).
