The species is known from Colombia and Venezuela ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2007a). The species has been reported from Manaure and Bogotà in Colombia ( Distant 1892; Jacobi 1907).
Material examined. “ Bonda, Colombia, Acc. No. 1999, May” ( one male and two female, AFSC) .
