Identification. Our specimens of P. brachialis were identified based on the following combination of char- acters: posterior margin of male abdominal sternite VI without projections; pronotum not shortened posteriorly, with anterior margin narrower than head width through eyes, and anterolateral angles not projected; and jugum, apex of pleurite VII, and base of VIII with several black denticles. Some of these features are not readily available from the literature but will be published in a forthcoming revision of the genus by FFFM.
