Munida evermanni Benedict, 1901
Munida evermanni has also been reported as Munida stimpsoni ( Baba et al. 2008) . Its range is from the Caribbean to the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico in depths of 232 to 471 m ( Milne-Edwards 1880; Benedict 1901; Chace 1942; Lemaitre 1984; Baba et al. 2008). Five males (CW from 12.0 to 13.8 mm), four females (CW from 11.4 to 13.3 mm), and one ovigerous female (13.7 mm) were available; males and females did not vary significantly in size (t-test, df = 7, t = 0.593, p = 0.572). All specimens were collected in the Gulf of Mexico in July in depths of 439 to 549 m ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 E).
