Type species. Kongsbergia (Neokongsbergia) globipalpis Lundblad. Original designation.
Diagnosis. (modified from Cook 1974). Idiosoma without prominent caudal development. Excretory pore borne on dorsal shield in both sexes. Tibia of first and second legs without thickened setae.
