Remarks. Hygrogeus montanus was originally described based on one male from “Cachemire, Gangria, 3 500 m …”. Based on the description and the shape of the aedeagus (fig. 2D in Coiffait (1983)), this medium-sized (6.0 mm) species belongs to the genus Trichodromeus .
