Genus Kishinewia Kolesnikov, 1935 †
Type species. Phasianella bessarabica d’Orbigny, 1844 , OD ( Kolesnikov 1935: 198). Middle-late Miocene (Bessarabian), Eastern Paratethys ( Moldova) .
Diagnosis. Small to medium sized, slender conical shells with indistinct suture. Teleoconch whorls nearly flat to slightly convex. No umbilicus.
Remarks. Kishinewia is restricted to the Bessarabian (mid-Sarmatian) of the Eastern Paratethys.
