Subgenus Deilemera Hübner , [1820]
Deilemera Hübner , [1820]: 179 (Type species: Phalaena evergista Stoll in Cramer, 1781 , by monotypy).
= Paraplastis Hampson, 1901 (Type species: Migoplastis hampsoni Swinhoe, 1889 , by original designation), syn. nov. References: Paraplastis: Hampson, 1901: 507 ; Rothschild, 1914: 263; Strand, 1919: 379; Sing & Singh, 2011: 242; Kirti & Singh, 2015: 59 –60.
= Migoplastis Felder, 1868: 285 (Type species: Migoplastis ceylanica Felder, 1868 , a junior synonym of Hypsa correcta Walker , [1865], by monotypy), syn. nov. References: Migoplastis: Hampson, 1901: 506 ; Rothschild, 1914: 262; Strand, 1919: 378.
= Pachyphilonia Butler, 1875: 325 (Type species: Hypsa correcta Walker , [1865], by original designation), syn. nov.
Remark 1. In the male genitalia, Paraplastis hampsoni , the type species of Paraplastis , has no significant differences from species of the Nyctemerina subgenus Deilemera (genitalia illustrated in de Vos (2002)); only the shape of the apical process of valva is different in the majority of species. R. de Vos (2002) published a full revision of this group, but did not study P. hampsoni . He accepted the status of Deilemera as a subgenus of Nyctemera ; such status was also accepted in the catalogue of Arctiinae of Eurasia (Dubatolov & de Vos 2010). However, the differences in the male genitalia structure of all subgenera of Nyctemera are so high that they might be considered as good genera. Thus, here we introduce the new synonymy:
Deilemera Hübner , [1820] = Paraplastis Hampson, 1901 , syn. nov.
Remark 2. By the male genitalia structure, M. correcta (= M. ceylanica ), the type species of Migoplastis also has no significant differences from Deilemera Hübner , [1820], but differs from closely related species, M. hampsoni in the structure of apical processes of valva: they are symmetrical, long, lacking enlargenings. Thus, we introduce the new synonymy:
Deilemera Hübner , [1820] = Migoplastis Felder, 1868 , syn. nov.
Deilemera Hübner , [1820] = Pachyphilonia Butler, 1875, syn. nov.
