Rhagovelia zela Drake, 1959 View in CoL
This species was known from the states of Santa Catarina and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ( Moreira and Ribeiro 2009), being recorded for the first time from Espírito Santo State. In the key to the Rhagovelia of Rio de Janeiro and adjacent localities from Moreira and Ribeiro (2009), it is erroneously stated that there might be a shining area on male abdominal tergite VI of R. zela ; however, in this species there are shining areas only on abdominal tergite VII and the genital segments of the male.
