Holotype. ♂, CHINA, Guangxi, Daming Mountain , 1220 m, 4th October 2020, coll. Zhixin He

Description. Male. Head small, flattened and shorter but slightly wider than pronotum. Occiput rounded. Vertex depressed, almost flattened and somewhat concave medially. Rostrum somewhat square in dorsal view, armed with almost parallel lateral margins with straight anterior margin.Antennal scape almost two times broader than rostrum. Eyes not especially expanded, somewhat directed forward; middle ocellus pitted, small, ellipse and located between antennal sockets; lateral ocelli large, oval-shaped, sunken, and located at top margin of eyes. Frons (portions below rostrum and antennal scape) smooth and convex medially; genae broad and slightly convex. Palpi of maxillary and labrum short. Posterior portion of maxillary palpi depressed and strongly widened, and angle-like apically; distal portion of labial palpi truncate and obviously longer than total length of reminding ones. Labrum convex medially and depressed laterally. Clypeus bearing emarginated distal margin (connecting to labrum), and with almost straight anterior margin. Labrum convex medially and depressed laterally. Pronotum narrowed anteriorly with a concave margin, broadened posteriorly with a convex margin, and its lateral margin edged. Pronotal disk flattened, armed with a butterfly-shaped pattern, median groove anteriorly and punctures entirely. Lateral lobes slightly smooth and light, conspicuously concave at median.

Female. Unknown.

Coloration. Body greyish brown. Head light brown and ornamented with dark green at occiput; antennae with segments annulating brown and white, the white part always including two sequences, proximal one short and distal one slightly longer. Pronotal disk colored light brownish green with a middle groove dark brown, and sides of posterior margin possessing dark brown pits. Tegmen with veins colored light brown to yellow. Legs more or less dark brown, except hind femur which is lighter on internal surface. Abdomen possessing tergites dark brown and anal plate reddish brown to dark brown; in ventral view, abdomen light reddish brown. Cerci brown but apically dark brown.

Measurements. BL 26.45, HL 2.34, HW 2.76, PL 3.35, PW 5.64, TL 18.57, TW 4.21, HWL 20.76.

Etymology. The name refers to the type locality, Guangxi Province.
