03C787C5412A6656FE1F694EFED0E797.taxon	discussion	Remarks. The new species has no similar species in China, and is also easily separated from the Vietnamese species. Three species, namely A. axana Chen, 2020, A. nobilitata Klapálek, 1909 and A. apicalis Stark and Sivec, 2008, share dark wing tips (Chen 2020), and three species, namely A. bachma Cao and Bae, 2007, A. songhaitiani Chen, 2020 and A. taygianga Chen, 2020, have in common a pair of aedeagal sclerites, whereas A. magnifica Cao and Bae, 2007 has a curved aedeagus.	en	Liu, Rui-Jun, Li, Wei-Hai (2025): New species and record of the genus Acroneuria Pictet, 1841 (Plecoptera: perlidae) from China. Figures 7 and 8 Body length 26.8 mm; fore wing length 21.6 mm, hind wing length 19.3 mm. Tergum 9 (Figure 7 c) with a few indistinct sensilla basiconica positioned in posteromedial field. Tergum 10 (Figure 7 c) anteromedially interrupted, the slit separating two patches of sensilla basiconica, the patch positioned in posterior half of segment and covering half of segment width. Paraproct Figures 7 (c) and 8 (c) strong, generally brown but with darker ventrolateral margin. In lateral view, the anterior edge nearly straight but apex gently incurved and ending in small apical tooth, posterior edge with more curved apex; in caudal view, the base moderately sclerotised and incised at inner edge, overally nearly straight (Figure 8 c). Sternum 9 (Figure 8 a) moderately elongated and with short, its posterior margin thickened and sclerotised, covering anterior part of sternum 10. Hammer (Figure 8 a – b) large and elliptical, connecting the posterior margin of sternum 9 with a trapezoid sclerite, occupying one-fourth of segment width and barely one-fifth of segment length; the surface covered by dense, small but distinct granules. Cercus Figures 7 (a) and 8 (a – c) each segment bears apical row of strong but short setae. Aedeagus. (Figure 8 d – f) Complex with distinct armatures. Dorsal surface nearly bald but medially with a longitudinal spinulose ridge ending near apex. Ventral surface covered with dense small sharp spines. Basal portion of the everted aedeagus broken but the general outline of the spinous area is apparently column shaped.	en	Liu, Rui-Jun, Li, Wei-Hai (2025): New species and record of the genus Acroneuria Pictet, 1841 (Plecoptera: perlidae) from China. 03C787C5412B665AFE0E6D06FF33E7D6.taxon	discussion	Remarks. This male is quite similar to the illustrations and original descriptions of A. magnifica Cao and Bae, 2007 from Vietnam, but the original illustrations are unclear and the aedeagus is not well everted (figs. 18 – 19 in Cao and Bae 2007), making identification difficult. We provided new illustrations and descriptions to facilitate the identification of this species.	en	Liu, Rui-Jun, Li, Wei-Hai (2025): New species and record of the genus Acroneuria Pictet, 1841 (Plecoptera: perlidae) from China. 03C787C541256659FE1568F3FC45E5E2.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Acroneuria personata Harper, 1976 was originally described from Nepal. Subsequently, Zwick (1977) reported it from Bhutan. The single male specimen agrees well with the original description and illustrations of A. personata in regards to the head pattern and the dorsal terminalia. It is the first record from China.	en	Liu, Rui-Jun, Li, Wei-Hai (2025): New species and record of the genus Acroneuria Pictet, 1841 (Plecoptera: perlidae) from China.
