Lectophoront (lectotype) by present designation, ZSI 10282, adult female. Onymotope (type locality): Naga Hills, Nagaland, India.</p><p>Other original symphoronts (paralectotypes): ZSI 10283–10285, three adult males (identified as Rhacophorus bipunctatus Ahl, 1927).</p><p>Rhacophorus maximus Günther, 1858: 325 . Symphoronts (syntypes), BMNH 1947.2.8.30–33 (ex. 1843.7.21.59, 1858.8.21.2–4), 4 adult males. Onymotope: Afghanistan (in error), probably North-East India; Nepal.</p><p>Rhacophorus gigas Jerdon 1870: 84 . Symphoronts (syntypes), including ZSI 10300.
