The TaGASR protein sequences (Cheng et al., 2019) were obtained from the Grain Genes database (https: // wheat. pw. usda. gov / GG 3) and were used as queries for TdGASA proteins search through the BLAST tool with an expected E-value threshold of E 50. The candidate TdGASA proteins were then screened using SMART (http: // smart. embl-heidelberg. de /) to reveal the existence of the PF 02704 GASA domain. Then, to guarantee that no TdGASA proteins were missed, the TdGASA sequences were carefully inspected and blasted one by one with a random reference AtGASA sequences; Roxrud et al., 2007). The chromosomal position of every TdGASA gene was drawn with the PhenoGram Plot tool (http: // visua lization. ritchielab. org / phenograms / plot) by determining all the chromosomes’ lengths and each gene’ s location.	en	Bouteraa, Mohamed Taieb, Romdhane, Walid Ben, Hsouna, Anis Ben, Amor, Fatma, Ebel, Chantal, Saad, Rania Ben (2023): Genome-wide characterization and expression profiling of GASA gene family in Triticum turgidum ssp. durum (desf.) husn.
